ETP Plant Manufacturers, Suppliers, Providers, Consultants, System & Service Providers in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane & India
Envirotech Consultants & Engineers are engaged as Manufacturers, Suppliers, Providers, Consultants, System Providers, Service Providers and ETP Service Providers of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). We provide customized wastewater treatment solutions for industries that require effective treatment of industrial effluent for safe disposal or suitable reuse.
An ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) is a wastewater treatment system designed to treat industrial wastewater before it is discharged into the environment or considered for reuse. Industrial processes can generate wastewater containing suspended solids, organic matter, chemicals, oils, dissolved substances and other contaminants. An appropriately designed ETP helps reduce these pollutants and improves the quality of the treated effluent.
The untreated industrial wastewater entering a treatment plant is commonly referred to as influent. Through a series of physical, chemical and, where applicable, biological treatment processes, contaminants are separated or reduced to produce treated effluent that can meet the applicable discharge or reuse requirements.
What is an Effluent Treatment Plant?
An Effluent Treatment Plant is a wastewater treatment facility specifically designed for industrial effluent. While a general Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) may treat different categories of wastewater, an ETP is commonly designed around the particular pollutants generated by an industrial process.
The treatment process and equipment are selected according to factors such as wastewater characteristics, flow rate, pollutant concentration, industry type, available space and the required quality of treated water.
How Does an ETP Plant Work?
An ETP generally uses a combination of treatment stages to reduce pollutants from industrial wastewater. Depending on the application, the treatment scheme may include screening, equalization, pH correction, coagulation, flocculation, clarification, biological treatment, filtration and tertiary treatment.
Not every ETP requires the same treatment stages. The final process configuration is selected according to the characteristics of the influent and the required treated-water quality.
Industrial Wastewater Treatment
Industrial wastewater can vary significantly depending on the manufacturing process. Pharmaceutical, textile, chemical and other industries may produce wastewater containing different combinations of organic and inorganic pollutants.
Envirotech Consultants & Engineers provides customized ETP solutions based on the specific wastewater treatment requirements of each industry.
Influent and Treated Effluent
Influent refers to the untreated wastewater entering the treatment system. During the treatment process, various contaminants are removed, separated or reduced through appropriate treatment stages. The resulting water is known as treated effluent and its quality depends on the treatment process and applicable discharge or reuse requirements.
ETP Solutions for Different Industries
ETP systems can be designed for a wide range of industrial applications. The appropriate treatment technology depends on the type of wastewater generated by the particular manufacturing process.
- Pharmaceutical industries
- Textile and dyeing industries
- Chemical industries
- Manufacturing industries
- Process industries
- Other industries generating industrial effluent
